Oilpainting “Angelbaby” or “What’s he hiding on the back?”

Oilpainting “Angelbaby” is one of my first oilpaintings try-outs. I took a photo, took a little duck (it was already dead and set up) and started to paint. In my head it had to be a bit mysterious. “What is he hiding on the back?”Is it? yes in my head the man had a knife on the back, but that you can’t see…it was only in my head. Took me a few weeks and finally I got this result. Let’s say; Just a bit of fun with oilpaint. How do you paint feathers, skin, clouds…it was all new for me. As always…I just did it, without knowing anything of oilpaint and how it reacts.
So after this tiny artwork, I think I hadn’t painted for a long while…it was a bit stress for me…but as you can see in this gallery, finally I restarted again. yes, you have to learn everything. Oilpainting “Angelbaby” is a kind of souvenir for me…and I still love it! And what is it excactly? Modern Art? Surealistic Art? Or maybe even Gay-Art? Although; what is gay-art?, here a link to wikipedia! I really don’t know. Let’s call it Try-out-Art!
I haven’t created any Artwear (if you want to know what artwear means, click on this link to wikipedia) from it yet, but…you never know. The clouds could be interesting, I think. Or maybe the wings. Or the “Angelbaby” itself! We’ll see. With so many artworks and much more ideas for Men’s Artwear I don’t have time enough to do it all at once. But…I pretend to get the age of 108, so time enough for more Art and Artwear.
