Oilpainting “Angels”

is one of the first oilpaintings by Paul, created in … no idea. Paul thinks it was  around 2000. It was just a new experiment. He had bought a few tubes of oilpaint , and than just started. Paul had no idea about the differance of oilpaint and acryl…but years later he found out. This litlle painting was painted as if it still was acryl.

And 

what the painting is about? Paul had no idea, just wanted to paint. He now thinks and says that Oilpainting “Angels” had to do with  “the good and bad” or probably: “There is always something good in everybody, even in  the devil! ” At that time it was for him more important to paint than to think of the “meaning” of the painting….that all came later! So than;  most of the time thought up after the fact what it was about.

A same kind of painting , from the same time is Oilpainting “Angelbaby”…An Angel with a litlle duck in his hand. But what is there in his other hand , at the back. A knife? You don’t see it…all made up by Paul…after he finished the tiny Oilpainting.

Later Paul painted more often “Angels” or “Angels” Look-a-Likes, like one of his favorite oilpaintings “Angelbaby” wich he often uses for new Artwear, like the Men’s Tank-Top “Angelbaby”
