Oilpainting “Untitled”
is probably the first oilpainting Paul Harmsen ever created. He really forgot when! At that moment he must have had a lot of influence by “Klimt”. But as Paul often says: “I only wanted to paint, to make”. Maybe Paul had at that time, will be around 2002-2003, deeper thoughts, but also that he forgot what they could be. Just a decoratif tiny oilpainting and there is not much to tell you about. Maybe, later when he is dead and famous (HAHAHA), somebody will tell you what this oilpainting is about…but paul really doesn’t know! Just like the title of this tiny oilpainting. “Untitled!” What’s in a name? We don’t have a clue, neither did Paul. Man sitting on a …? Paul had no idea how to call it so he left it “Oilpainting Untitled” If you have a better Idea; Tell us!
Just as the title we don’t have an idea if this artwork will be nice and good looking on our X-Artwear. Is this a good print for our Artwear? Would you buy it than? Maybe Paul should try it on a T-shirt, can be fun with those circles and leaves…but…we’ll see! There are a lot of Artworks here in the Gallery who are more interesting to print on Menswear than this one. But, as we said; who knows in the future you’ll find a shirt or jogger all over printed with this” Klimt-a-like” oilpainting.
